All Art Students.....
25 points for attending the opening reception for the 8th grade sculpture show at the YAM on Thursday, Oct 23 between 5:30 and 7:30. See post below for more information.

7th grade art students 20 points for bringing a box (any size) of aluminum foil for our Oaxaca folk animal sculptures. Must bring by Monday Oct 27th. Thanks!

Mid terms are progress reports

Midterms are in the works. If you see holes in the online gradebook, check to see if the assignment is still in your portfolio or cubby. These can still be turned in......your grade is not set in stone; it is cumulative. If the project has EC in the title, it is extra credit and will not count against your grade if you do not participate.

Another extra credit opportunity.

October 3rd Art Walk.
Visit downtown galleries and the museum from 5-9 Friday October 3rd. An extra 10 points if you name an artist whose work is up in the small works show at the Toucan Gallery on Montana Avenue. You can get a map at the first gallery you visit or print one off here. Bring a map with two or more gallery stamps for 25 points extra credit.
